Cosyfeet Celebrates 15-Year Partnership with Brainwave

Street-based shoe manufacturer, Cosyfeet, are celebrating their 15-year partnership with local children’s charity, Brainwave, which provides life-changing therapy support for children with disabilities and additional needs across the UK.

Cosyfeet make wide fitting shoes for people with swollen feet, and support the charity by making regular donations of footwear, socks, hosiery, and foot care products to be sold in their charity shops across the southwest.

“The generous donations from Cosyfeet over the years have been invaluable,” says Barry Upfold, Head of Retail & IT at Brainwave. “We make sure their products take pride of place as lots of customers find Cosyfeet footwear very comfortable.”

The funds raised have helped the organisation to achieve life-changing outcomes for more children and families from their centre in Bridgwater, through outreach hubs and home visits.

“At Brainwave we create a personalised therapy plan for each child and offer support to the entire family,” says physiotherapist, Dawn Chance. “We have a hydrotherapy pool, an immersive sensory room and a specially-adapted swing room. There is also an outdoor sensory space for families.”

Cosyfeet place local causes at the heart of their giving initiatives and are grateful for the opportunity to assist Brainwave, which helps children in working towards their important milestones, both within Somerset and further afield.

“Brainwave’s amazing work with children is truly inspiring,” says Cosyfeet Fulfilment Manager, Adam Gibbs. “We’re honoured to be able to give to such a worthy cause, right on our doorstep.”

Brainwave CEO, Keith Sinclair, added, “We are immensely grateful for Cosyfeet’s unwavering support and generosity over the years. The vital funds generated from selling their surplus stock donations in our charity shops has enabled us to support more children and families, both locally and across the UK.”
