Somerset Quakers – Poetry and Music inspired by Nature, Sunday 15th September 3:00pm

Somerset Quakers will celebrate the beauty of the world and lament what is being lost in a recital at the United Reform Church, 120 High Street, Street BA16 0ER.

Poetry by Thomas Hardy, Mary Oliver, Gerard Manley Hopkins and John Clare  and music by Clara Schumann and Vaughan Williams will be included. The cellist Helen Lunt will be joined by other local musicians. The recital will be followed by tea and cake. Free admission – donations to URC and Friends of the Earth.
